5 prayers for Seeking Peace in a hectic life.

Sometimes all me need is prayer. To sit in silence in the presence of our merciful Lord and ask Him for peace.

I have penned out 5 prayers of peace in different areas. I hope they bless you. xo. StephanieRosita.

Prayer or Peace In The Home

Father God, you are the giver of all peace. And the peace that you give is not just a temporary reassurance – it is an eternal peace that passes all human understanding. In this fast-paced, chaotic world I live in, I need that kind of peace more than ever.So Lord, I pray for your peace to fill my home. Right now, I have a lot on my plate – at times, more than I can handle.

Between finances, housework, and family commitments, my home life has not exactly been easy.Lately, I have been so stressed out by these things that I have forgotten how to be joyful in you. Forgive me, God, when I am distracted by these earthly things.

Forgive me when I forget your promises of care and protection.Lord, you said that in this life we will have tribulation. But you also told us to take heart, for you have overcome the world. Jesus, I believe this – but I pray that you would help my unbelief.

Each and every day, help me to reaffirm that ultimately, my life and my home belong to you. Help me to trust you with every aspect of my home life, even the messy parts. Give me the wisdom and perseverance I need to manage my many responsibilities without being overwhelmed. Give me faith and courage to keep moving even when I can’t see the outcome. And help me to know that you will be with me every step of the way.

Prayer For Peace For Family

Lord Jesus, I pray that you would give peace to my family, as well. Help us to keep our eyes on you, both as individuals and as a family unit.

Help us to be kind and tenderhearted toward one another, even in times of trial. You have blessed us each with unique personalities, but because of sin, that sometimes causes us to clash over fickle things.

God, help us to put aside all these draining and meaningless conflicts. Help us to let go of every pointless thing that might divide us.

Help us, instead, to be unified in our love for you and for each other. Let us be so filled with peace that the rest of the world is inspired to seek out the source.

God, above all, help us to be a family that glorifies you. Help us to live out the plan that you have for us. Let us come together to praise you, instead of bickering over our differences.

Let each member of the family play their part joyfully and heartily, as you intend for us to.

Let us all trust in your divine authority over our lives and over our family. Thank you for the great gift of family, Lord.

Thank you for giving me people to love, just as you loved me. Don’t ever let me take this priceless gift for granted.

Let my family not be a source of anger and bitterness, but an oasis and a daily reminder of your perfect peace.

Prayer For Peace At Work

Father, I pray also for peace in the workplace.

With so many people in one space, there is opportunity for conflict all the time. With tensions running high, it can be so easy to get lost in the chaos of it all.

Lord, help me to remain steady in this stressful environment.Don’t let me give in to the temptation of greed, laziness, or dishonesty. Help me to be grateful, acknowledging that you created work for our good.

Help me not to get distracted by all the things that could go wrong; help me instead to focus on completing my responsibilities to the best of my ability.

Give me the strength and energy to make it through this day, as well as the rest of the week.God, your Word says, “You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.”

So help me to live out that truth. Help me to keep my mind focused on you and not on the storm around me.

Motivate me to spend more time in your Word, so that your truth is with me always – even through my struggles at work.

Help me not to fixate on earthly things, but to set my eyes on heaven and trust in your plan for my life.

This world can’t supply me with the peace I need for each day.

Only you can do that.So give me more of you, Jesus, for my good and for your glory..

Prayer For Peace For Sleep

And Lord, I pray finally that you would help me to sleep tonight. In your perfect plan, you have given us hours to work, and hours to rest.

But sometimes I find it hard to turn my mind off after a long, difficult day. God, help me to let go of all these burdens. Help me to understand that I can’t control every aspect of my life – but I can trust in the one who does. You are the God of the daytime and the God of the nighttime.

Even while I sleep, I know you are watching over me and protecting me. Help me to surrender my need to be in charge and to trust that you have it under control.

Sometimes I feel like my mind is racing, but God, I pray that you would help me to turn it off just for a few hours so that I can rest. And help me not to worry about tomorrow, for each day has enough trouble of its own.

I know that whatever the future holds, you will give me the strength to get through it. Help me to clear my mind of all fear and anxiety. God, your peace is the only thing that can calm the raging thoughts inside of me. Cover me with your peace, as the waters cover the sea.

I believe that your love is far greater than any of my worldly troubles. So I pray all these things in Jesus’ powerful name.

Amen.
